Bocherim in Lakewood Almost Drown After Ice on Pond Melts

Lakewood, New Jersey: This afternoon, near the Yeshiva on Chestnut, a couple of boys got stuck in a pond that was frozen over. The pond was completely ice, when suddenly it started to crack. One of the boys called the police to rescue them. Police, Fire, Hatzolah and Chavarim responded and after a few scary minutes they rescued them from the water, they were able to rescue them from the cracking ice. Baruch Hashem there were no injuries reported.
