Chabad House Being Held Hostage in India
India: A Jewish hostage scene is still ongoing, this is the 11th
attack by terrorists today. More gunfire was heard from the Chabad
House where Jews are being held hostage is Mumbai. One of the bombs
was detonated near the Chabad House located on 5 Hormusji Street in
the Nariman House in Mumbai's Colaba area. Commandos have stormed the
house, rescued a few people and are reporting casualties. It is a five
floor dilapidated building which also houses the Chabad, 3 have been
killed. The house is still being held hostage. In another place,
Israeli tourists are among the hostages beeing held inside the Trident
Hotel. The local Chabad Shliach, Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg, and his wife
Rivka cannot be located. A friend of the Sheliach, who lives in
Yerushalyim, received an email from him shortly before the attacks,
but there has been no contact since, all his phone numbers go
unanswered. It is assumed that he is in the house. Chabad officials

Update - 12:00AM: Live footage was just aired of a child and a woman
running out of the Chabad House. Reporter: "definitely foreigners.
Update - 2:30AM: The child was one of the Chabad Sheliach's children.
He is 2 year old Moshe, he has been rescued, he is B"H alive and well
at the hospital. There is still no word on the parents.
Update - 5:00AM: The woman who has escaped from the building says that
the Chabad Shliach and his wife are unconscious inside.
