7:00PM Israel Time: Thousands of IDF troops (tank units) have entered Gaza determined to wipe out all of Hamas weapon storage, rocket launchers and leaders. The IDF calls for tens of thousands of reservists to report for duty. The waters off the Gaza coast are closed with a military block so Hamas cannot bring backup.

Update - 6:00AM: 20 IDF soldiers have been wounded, 2 seriously. Dozens of Hamas have been killed. The IAF intensifies bombings on terror targets.
- The IDF killed the chief of the group in charge of the grad rockets by the name of 'Hussan Hamdan' and captures alot of hamas activists.
- The IDF is checking a report delivered by Al Jezeera TV saaying that 2 soldiers were captured by Hamas.
Update - 7:20AM: Gaza is split in half, columns of tanks, artillery and troops are making their way from the East Strip to the West Bank.
Update - 9:00AM: An Israeli soldier from the Golani Unit has been killed in the fight in Gaza. 40+ rockets have gone into Israel, 1 person injured in Ashdod, shock victims in Ashkalon.
Update - 11:00AM: A second soldier who was evacuated from Gaza in critical condition is being operated on now.
