1:00AM EST: Rockets, fired from Lebanon, have just slammed into the Nahariya area, in Northern Israel.
Update - 1:30AM: 4 rockets from Lebanon hit Nahariya, 4 people injured.
The IDF chief is meeting with Ehud Barak.
Many schools in North ordered to stay closed.
Update - 1:45AM: At least 5 rockets from Lebanon hit northern Israel. Israel returns fire with up to 10 rockets back into Lebanon, at least 5 people injured.
Update - 2:00AM: Israeli Defense Sources say the rocket attacks from Lebanon were carried out by a Palestinian group and not by Hezballah.
Hamas denies rocket launching from the North: "Our military action is only on Palestine Land".
Update - 2:15AM: IAF planes flew in and bombed the launcher of the rockets.
Update - 8:00AM: The Ahmed Jabril Terrorist group has took responsibility for the rocket attacks from Lebanon on the north.
A rocket on Kibbutz Ein HaShloshah causing injuries, 4 high tension electrical cables were hit - villages are without power.

*1 more soldier was killed in a gun fight with Hamas in Gaza. The Israeli Soldier killed earlier today is 27 year old Roee Rosner from Holon.

Eretz Yisroel: 5 Katyusha Rockets slammed into Northern Israel from Lebanon injuring 2 people. Israeli forces fired back destroying the launching sites. IDF suspects palestinian terror group not Hezbollah. Investigation is underway. The North is on high alert.
One of he Katyusha rockets struck an old age home. 2 elderly victims are being treated in hospital. Israel's Northern Command is asking residents to go into bomb shelters and shuts schools. Beirut closes schools in the face of the Israeli retaliation.
