Kefira: Rochel Imainu in Gaza
Eretz Yisroel: The following is a story that has been circulating since the end days of the Israeli war in Gaza - Below the story are what Rabbonim say about this made up story:
A group of soldiers were approaching a building in Gaza and preparing to enter when a lady [most versions of the story say "a beautiful lady" or "the prettiest lady"] ["with her face covered" "by a vail"] comes out of the building toward the soldiers. The lady says to soldiers that the building is booby trapped, and she tells them not to go in. The soldiers listening to the lady, move on to the next building, and again she tells them not to go in, as there are explosives inside. The general sent a robot into the buildings and indeed found that there would have been casualties had the soldiers entered the buildings. The soldiers asked the lady "who are you?" and she answered "I am Rochel Imainu and I am here to protect my children".
Regarding the above story:
R' Mordachai Eliyahu spoke about the story and said "I was the one that sent Rochel Imainu to save the soldiers."
R' Ovadia Yossef mentioned the story in his Thursday night shiur.
Rav Chaim Kanievsky and Rav Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz said that anybody who beleives this story is a Kofer. They said that Hashem does not help Tziyonim because they are Reshuim, and Hashem does not help people who help Tziyonim.
