Litzman Beaten on Shabbos

Eretz Yisroel: MK Y. Litzman, a Gerrer Chosid, and a member of the Knesset, who thousands of Yidden are angry at, because he supported Barkat, a Chiloni mayor of Yerushalayim went to the Slonim Beis Medresh on Shabbos morning for a Kiddush, where he was hit and beaten, as Kugel and cake was pelted at him by fuming Slonim Chassidim, screaming "Shaigitz" at him. He was thrown out of the Slonim Beis Medrash in Yerushalayim, in disgrace. The Slonimer Rebbe said that whoever did it must ask Mechila. Litzman announced in a threatening speech today that "everybody who hit me yesterday in Slonim will be reported to the police".
