Anti-Semitic Graffiti on London Kosher Cafe

London, England: Vandals have targeted a Kosher cafe in Hendon and etched anti-Semitic graffiti on the walls. The attack on the building in Hendon Park was carried out one night last week and discovered by the park ranger the next morning. The words “dirty Jews”, the image of a gun containing the word “kill”, and Nazi Swastika symbols, were scratched into the brickwork. The owner stated that the disturbing graffiti did not deter business for the day, as the café stayed open. "After the police had come and taken pictures of it that afternoon, we painted it over". "It's been removed now because we didn't want to encourage the people who did this, we don't want them to feel powerful." Police Constable Sandy Marwick of the West Hendon SNT, said the graffiti attack was not a cause for great concern. He said: “It is disgusting and it is going to cause a lot of disturbance in the community, although it is not a sign of any trend.”
